ROYAL FLYING DOCTOR SERVICE (QUEENSLAND Section)
48 HOUR GAME JAM

June 24th - 26th
About
This year’s jam is powered by the gaming for good movement, with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) inspiring teams to create games that spark real‑world impact.
Hosted by Griffith Film School and the RFDS, the jam brings together an awesome mix of game designers, programmers, animators, filmmakers, artists and storytellers. Industry mentors, Griffith alumni, and streamers will be dropping in throughout the event to hype you up, give feedback, and help judge the final builds.
This is a full‑throttle, 48‑hour sprint where you and your team turn a handful of prompts into a playable game. It’s fast. It’s intense. It’s ridiculously fun. You’ll be designing, coding, drawing, breaking things, fixing things, and discovering what you can really do under pressure. Think of it as a mini‑degree in creativity, teamwork, and problem‑solving plus the chance to snag some epic awards at the end.
